Dating Series: Introduction

After a lot of self-reflecting, brainstorming, reading and writing, I've decided to dedicate a series of blog posts to a few of the guys I've dated so far in my life. I've dated a fair amount since the age of 15 and I a few experiences that I would like to share. And I know what some of you might be thinking: dating at 15 doesn't count. It's hard to argue with that because the dynamics of what counts as actual dating can differ from person to person. I'd like to say that while my dating life has been significantly different when I was in college (a time in my life when it actually made more sense for me to date) my high school relationship(s) are still an important part of my life. So yes I do count them as relevant experiences when it comes to dating. In my next post I'll start with the first real boyfriend I felt I had and our story. For those of you who could care less about some random woman's love life, I wouldn't blame you for not wanting to read this series. But over the years I've realized how common some of the problems I went through in my dating life are. And that's one of the reasons I love writing on this blog. So far a few friends and acquaintances have contacted me to let me know how relatable certain posts are to them. While I started this blog for myself, I am really glad people are reading it and giving me comments. It used to be so hard to open up to people even if they are really close to me. But now that I started this blog, it's truly refreshing to write my thoughts and let the whole world potentially see it. I really hope you like this series. Thank you for being here.
